The Mugaga Farmers’ Cooperative Society (FCS) is located in the heart of Nyeri county. A total of five factories are part of this cooperative, including Kiamabara. The name Kiamabara can be translated to “many roads”, as the factory is located in a central area where many roads are crossing.
This coffee is handpicked, pulped then fermented for 12-24 hours without water. Once fermented, the parchment is washed and graded before being soaked overnight and dried for 10-15 days.
A great representation of a washed Kenyan from this region; bright and juicy acidity with great balance and structure.
