NOTES
Tangerine, Date, Cocoa.
The San Felipe district is located in the heights of Jaén, in a climate similar to that of Callayuc, Cutervo. With a more temperate weather pattern, high altitude and lower humidity, this allows for slower ripening and processing of parchment.
The cooperative supports farming members and promotes the development of high-quality coffees through social, economic and environmental support. It is also important to note, the cooperatives are Organic and Rainforest Alliance certified.
Peru holds exceptional promise as a producer of high-quality coffees. The country is the largest exporter of organic Arabica coffee globally. With extremely high altitudes and fertile soils, the country’s smallholder farmers also produce some stunning specialty coffees.
A sweet and juicy lot, don’t miss it!
