NOTES
Jasmine, Apricot, Black Tea.
Brothers Asefa and Mulugeta Dukamo founded Daye Bensa, a coffee grower and exporter in Ethiopia. Daye Bensa exports coffee from its farm and smallholders in the Shantawene Village and is recognised for the unique notes of its local coffee variety as well as the organic farming methods that have sustained it for hundreds of years.
Daye Bensa stretches between 1,900 and 2,217 metres. The cherry is delivered from smallholder farms higher up the mountain, between 2000 and 2400 metres.
Going forward, Daye Bensa is hoping to work with more farmers, to particularly encourage women farmers and to help students perform research to improve coffee quality.
Floral and complex, banging espresso!
