NOTES
Orange, Apricot, Black tea.
The 320 members of the Koerintji Barokah Bersama Cooperative live and farm on a plateau that sits at the foot of Mount Kerinci, Sumatra. Coffee plants thrive in volcanic soil, which is rich in minerals and nutrients that also enhance a coffee's flavour profile.
This anaerobic washed coffee is fermented in airtight drums for 72 hours, then washed and dried on raised beds.
Coop members have a fixed buyer for their cherries, and profits are either reinvested in infrastructure to improve quality or shared as quality premiums.
Fruity and delicate, back again for another year!
