Alexander hernandez’s Finca La Esmeralda is located in Pitalito, Southern Huila, near the heart of the Macizo Colombiano at 1700 meters above sea level.
Alexander is PECA certified, which means that producers are equipped with the skills to improve coffee quality. This has them to implement shade cover over their patios and raised beds during the drying process, as well as learning how to keep fermentation tanks clean for superior washing of their coffees, among other skills.
Expect a remarkably floral and fruity profile with a delicate mouthfeel and a clean finish. it’s the perfect geisha!
